VengefulKangaroo, or Ian, was the runner-up of SRorgs: Grenada and the season's Fan Favorite. He has also served as a main host of the series since being elected prior to SRorgs: Rwanda.

Ian was a dominant player, finding two idols and the Legacy Advantage and voting on the right side of every vote. However, he drew criticism at Final Tribal Council for his reliance on advantages and his flip at the Final 6, ultimately costing him the win to Sugar in a 5-3-1 vote. He earned the nickname "Jesus" from the alum community.

Ian returned as one of the franchise's ten most villainous characters for SRorgs: Greece - Heroes vs. Villains, which he again dominated strategically early on. At Final 6, Ian had become the largest jury threat. Once Cool was allowed to stay in the game after a controversial reveal that he and Edge were brothers, Ian was blindsided for now being seen as the biggest threat who did not have immunity.

Ian returned again in SRorgs: Rapa Nui. Despite a huge target on his back, he managed to make it deep into the game as a threat before being blindsided by a last-second vote change at the Final 7.

Grenada[]

Ian began Grenada on the Barique tribe. He started out in a leadership role, winning the Hero reward challenge for his tribe and creating the tribe flag. Unfortunately, the tribe lost the challenge and was sent to tribal. Ian had quickly connected with Banner, Con, and Rafael, and the four of them decided to vote out Wicklefuck for her inactivity. The vote was unanimous, and afterwards, Ian, Banner, and Con solidified an alliance. Ian kept a relationship with Rafael on the side. Barique was able to win the next three challenges due to being the most active tribe, and they did not go to tribal again.

At the tribe swap, Ian was swapped to the Marquis tribe with allies Con and Raf. Original Barique had the most members on Marquis, with three, but together, the original Fendue and Marquis members could have a majority of four. Fortunately, Teddy was not an active member of the tribe and was thus an easy target. At this point, Ian managed to find the Marquis tribe hidden immunity idol, which he kept a secret from his allies. When Marquis lost the challenge, Ian considered trying to blindside someone other than Teddy because Teddy would likely be medically evacuated if he didn’t show up, but could not find support and joined the tribe in voting off Teddy unanimously.

Marquis won the next challenge, but Ian made an alliance with Chris in case the tribe went to tribal again. They did not, as the hosts revealed that the tribes had merged. On the new merged tribe, Ian won a reward challenge to receive a second hidden immunity idol, which he again kept secret from his allies. He also made relationships with Shane, Arnold, and most importantly Sugar, who revealed to him that Banner had found and played a hidden immunity idol at the new Barique tribe. Ian was surprised, because Banner had kept this information from them, straining their relationship.

After the reward challenge, the hosts revealed that the merge was a trick, and that another tribe swap would occur, though everyone remained together on one beach. Ian and Con stayed on the Marquis tribe, where they were joined by Ant, Banner, Shane, and Jake. Original Barique had a clear majority on the tribe, so Ian proposed throwing a challenge to keep Rafael safe and take out Shane or Jake. Banner, who was close with Shane and wary of Jake and Ant, turned down the idea. Marquis won the challenge. Ian was worried for Rafael and Chris, but decided not to give them his hidden immunity idol as he wanted to keep it for himself and because they felt that they could survive the tribal. They could not, and Chris sadly went home, becoming the first member of the jury.

Ian found that he received little information about Chris’ vote out despite the won world twist. He again proposed throwing the challenge, but was shot down. Marquis won immunity again. Feeling out of the loop and fearing that Rafael and Gus may have a returning players’ alliance, he decided not to intervene in Barique’s tribal, and Rafael was sent home. Rafael, who had received the legacy advantage from Wicklefuck when she was voted out, passed the advantage on to Ian, his closest ally.

The tribes then actually merged, becoming Enn Ael. Ian, feeling on the bottom due to the closeness of the Barique 2.0 tribe, the lack of information about the Rafael and Chris vote outs, the fact that Con had all but disappeared, and Banner’s unwillingness to win the challenge, worked hard to win the immunity challenge and ensure his safety. He connected with Sugar, as well as with the alliance of Banner, Arnold, and Shane. Due to his distrust of Zach and the fact that Zach had not included Ian in his plan to vote out Shane, Ian sided with Banner, Arnold, Shane, and Ant to take out Zach. He revealed this to Sugar, who joined the five in voting out Zach over Con in a 6-4 vote, as Zach would have gone home in the event of a tie anyways.

Gus, angry that the tribe had kept in an inactive over Zach, demanded that the tribe vote out Con next. Realizing his ally was not returning, Ian agreed. However, Sugar did not let the tribe go directly to tribal, preferring to wait for Con, who he had known before the game began. The challenge proceeded and Con did not return, so the tribe decided to vote him out. Ian, wary that the tribe had not proceeded directly to tribal and noticing how Banner felt the same, suggested Banner throw a vote at someone else, just in case an idol was played. Ian felt this could help to make someone paranoid – and it did, causing Ant to go ballistic trying to find out who voted him after Con was voted out in an 8-1 vote over Ant.

At the Final 8, the Survivor Auction occurred. Ian’s alliance coordinated so that they could get the best items, though both Ian and Arnold bid on the secret advantage to keep it out of the hands of the minority alliance. Ian won the advantage, which allowed him to swap challenge scores with another player up to the Final 5. He told his alliance what the advantage was, as they had promised before the auction. Ian was concerned that Shane, the biggest threat in his opinion, received a vote steal, which could give him a lot of power to stay safe in the game.

After the immunity challenge, Ian, playing both sides between the original Fendue members and his alliance, tried to convince the entire tribe to vote out Ant, who he perceived as having a guaranteed seat at the end for being a goat if he stayed in the game much longer. However, everyone wanted to make a move, with Shane, Arnold, and Banner targeting Jake, and Jake, Ant, Sugar, and Gus targeting Shane. Jake revealed that Shane and Banner were incredibly close to Ian, which scared him about Shane more. However, Ian felt that it was too soon to make a move. Still, the Fendue alliance had Ant, so they did not need his vote to tie it all. Ian decided to leak the Fendue alliance’s plan to Shane so that Shane would feel compelled to play the vote steal. He told Sugar that he would flip on the revote as long as Shane did not play the steal. However, Shane confronted Sugar about the plan, causing Sugar to decide to vote for Ant instead, knowing Shane could play the vote steal. Ian blamed the leak on Ant, saying he was never really loyal. At the vote, Shane did play the vote steal, stealing Jake’s vote, as Jake was voted out 5-2-1 over Ant and Shane.

At the Final 7, the tribe played Touchy Subjects. Ian got a near perfect score, winning the challenge and only getting the question “Who is most likely to have an idol?” incorrect, as he did not want to imply that he had one and wanted to cast suspicion on Gus. However, the majority of the tribe guessed Ian as the answer. This also allowed Ian to save one of his hidden immunity idols to use on someone else (as he had two idols and the legacy advantage and only three tribal councils to play them at). With his newfound safety, Ian pushed harder to again get Ant out. Shane, Banner, and Arnold agreed, and Ian promised Sugar and Gus that he would make a move with them at the Final 6, so they agreed as well. Ant was voted out unanimously over Sugar.

At the Final 6, Ian decided it was time to flip on Shane, who he still saw as the biggest threat in the game. Without the vote steal, Ian knew that if Shane, Arnold, and Banner agreed to split the votes between Sugar and Gus 2-2, he could vote out Shane with three votes. Ian told Sugar and Gus that he was willing to vote with them at this vote. He also told them about the existence of the score swap advantage.  Next, he planted suspicion of Sugar and Gus having one or more hidden immunity idols so that he could convince his allies to split the vote. He also argued that it was necessary that Sugar and Gus lose immunity so that a split vote was possible. With this, he convinced all six of his tribemates to reveal their immunity scores to him so that he would know if Shane was winning immunity. If Shane was going to win immunity, Ian could swap their scores and publicly reveal he was targeting him. Then, Ian could use both the legacy advantage and a hidden immunity idol to force Shane to go home. Right before the end of the challenge, it looked like Shane would win, so Ian convinced Banner that he should steal Shane’s score to create a fake fight, just in case Sugar and Gus both had idols, as that may convince them not to play them. Banner in turn revealed that he and Shane wanted Ian to help them blindside Arnold. Continuing the fake fight plan under the guise of wanting to blindside Arnold, Ian swapped his score with Shane’s, but Arnold got a higher challenge score at the last minute, making the swap unnecessary. Shane and Banner thus abandoned their blindside plan. Ian was not able to talk to Shane as he had to leave, and Banner did not tell Shane about the plan early enough. Shane then had a large blowup, calling Ian a snake and labeling the snake as his emoji. Further, he threatened not to let Ian win at the end of the game. Shane, Arnold, and Banner, not trusting Ian, voted for him. Ian played the legacy advantage on himself and a hidden immunity idol on Gus. He negated three votes for himself and sent Shane home.

At the Final 5, Ian attempted to mend fences with Arnold, revealing Shane and Banner’s blindside plan to him, but Arnold was not convinced. Banner was able to win the immunity challenge, and everyone seemed set to vote off Arnold. Though Ian had originally planned to flip back on Sugar, who he saw as a threat, it did not seem plausible. Arnold attempted to sway Ian at the last minute, but eventually voted for Ian. Ian played his second idol, as this was the last tribal where it could be used, and negated one vote. Arnold was voted off unanimously by the other tribe members.

At the Final 4, Ian saw Banner as the biggest threat and realized he needed to win immunity as he was perceived as a huge threat. Ian was able to finish the immunity puzzle faster than the rest of the Final 4 and together, he, Sugar, and Gus voted off Banner.

At the Final Tribal Council, some, like Banner, respected Ian’s strategic dominance, voting record, and ability to find idols and advantages, while others, like Shane, blasted him for his betrayal at the Final 6. The jurors called Ian out for an overreliance on advantages, claiming that he would not have survived either the Final 6 or Final 5 without them. Sugar, meanwhile, was able to take credit for sneaking his way to the end and take advantage of his strong social relationships, particularly with the original Fendue tribe. With the votes of the original Fendue tribe, Shane, and Arnold (as well as Con, who miraculously appeared and voted for Sugar based on their pregame connection), Sugar won the season. Ant voted for Gus out of hatred of all three finalists, while Ian received the votes of Banner and his close allies Chris and Rafael, thus placing second over Gus.

Ian won the Fan Favorite Award for his strategic gameplay, long confessionals, and popularity during the season.

Greece[]

Ian returned for SRORGs: Greece – Heroes vs. Villains as one of the ten most notorious villains to ever play the game. He was placed on the Favlos tribe due to his cutthroat gameplay, reputation as a snake, and willingness to vote out even his closest allies, like Banner. He was one of two representatives of Grenada to return, with Banner returning as a Hero.

On Favlos, Ian quickly found himself pulled into an alliance by Usernam of himself, Usernam, Ashton, Joe, Nick Jr, and Fred. He also made a relationship with Stick, who wanted the trio of Ian, Stick, and Trent to stick together as big threats from their previous seasons. Ian was pulled into alliances with Nick III, Stick, and Usernam as well as Nick III, Stick, Trent, Nick Jr, and Usernam.

On Day 1, Ian and Ashton bonded and Ashton revealed the location of the clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol to Ian. The two worked both together and against one another to find the idol, and Ashton was eventually successful. They also framed Trent for having found it and planted a fake idol, hoping to cause trouble among the Villains or the Heroes.

Ian, along with most of the Villains, targeted Maxis early on due to his reputation for being a flipper in his first season. Despite Ian’s great score in the first challenge, Favlos lost and the tribe unanimously agreed to vote out Maxis. However, Ian already noticed that he seemed to be in the middle along with Nick Jr, as Trent targeted Ashton and Joe and Ashton and Joe targeted Trent.

The Villains went on a four challenge winning streak, in no small part due to Ian, who won a flagmaking challenge, redeeming his terrible Barique flag, helped Ashton dominate a live challenge, lead strategy on a Sporcle challenge, and beat Cool in a Hero challenge. In this time, Usernam and the Trent, Nick III, Nick Jr, and Stick alliance began to target Fred, who was overtly targeting Trent.

When Favlos finally lost the next challenge, Fred, Ashton, and Joe targeted Trent while the rest of the tribe targeted Fred. Not wanting to pick a side so soon, Usernam, Nick Jr, and Ian convinced Ashton and Joe that for tribe unity’s sake they had to vote out Fred.

Despite their best efforts, Favlos lost the next challenge as well. At this point, it seemed there was no stopping the two sides of the tribe from going after one another. Usernam, surprisingly, tried to get Trent, Nick Jr, Nick III, and Stick to blindside Ashton and leave Ian and Joe out of the vote. Ian and Nick Jr took advantage of the opportunity to turn the entirety of the tribe against Usernam, citing tribe unity at the merge in order to convince Trent, Nick III, and Stick, and revealing Usernam’s plan to Ashton and Joe to convince them. Ashton, afraid of still being blindsided, allowed Ian to hold on to the idol during the tribal council.

The next day, the tribes merged, which Ian was thankful for, as he did not need to pick a side and the Villains still had a one member advantage over the Heroes. Ashton immediately noticed the clue to the idol, and while Ian noticed it, he was busy at the time. Thankfully, Ashton found the second idol and revealed this information to Ian.

Quickly, it became apparent that the game was still going to be Heroes vs. Villains at the merge. Ian welcomed this outcome, feeling on top of the Villains. He did, however, reconnect with Banner and make connections with Cody and Cool. Sadly, fearing a hidden immunity idol being played and unable to agree on many targets, the Villains decided to target Banner. The Heroes and Villains stuck together and Banner was voted out 7-6.

At the next vote, Ashton and Joe pulled Ian into an alliance of three Heroes and three Villains, featuring Beamen, Cody, Cool, and the three Villains. They named the alliance Cookies and Cream and agreed to keep each other safe. Even though Ian did not fully trust the group, he agreed for the protection it offered. Ian nearly lost immunity to Cody. At the next vote, the Villains were able to agree on Windo as a target. However, Joe leaked the vote to the Heroes and Edge saved Windo with a Hidden Immunity Idol. The Cookies and Cream connection saved Ian, Ashton, and Joe, as the Heroes voted to take Nick Jr out of the game. Ian was angry at the loss of his close ally, but suddenly found himself as the only person playing both sides of the Villains.

The Final 11 were surprised to find that this round was the Survivor Auction. The Villains were scared to notice the number of vote manipulation advantages being offered at the auction, which could easily turn the tide in favor of the Heroes. Ian, Joe, and Ashton made sure every Villain bid on a different item, and that every Cookies and Cream member did as well. However, Ian and Ashton knew Edge and possibly Windo would still bid on the Vote Steal, which could give the Heroes the power to turn the tide. Ian considered taking the light pearl, so he could save himself if the Heroes won the Vote Steal, but he instead doubled up with Ashton to keep the Vote Steal out of the Heroes’ hands. Ian won the advantage and was successful. However, Windo took the Light Pearl and won the ability to negate the next vote for himself, and Nick III was stuck with the Dark Pearl, which added a vote to him at the next tribal council.

Ian tried to get the Villains, including Stick who had a challenge advantage, to win immunity so they could save Nick and he could keep the vote steal (as he would need to play it at the next vote to prevent a tie if Nick’s Dark Pearl was in play), but was frustrated as Cody won immunity again. Because of the Cookies and Cream alliance and Windo’s Light Pearl, Edge was the only option to vote out. Ian was wary of Cody, Beamen, and Cool being big threats, but went along with the plan. He played the Vote Steal to ensure a tie was avoided, but knowing he only needed to negate the vote of one of the minority, he used the extra vote he gained to vote for Windo and burn the light pearl, freeing Windo up as a valid voting option in the future.

At the Final 10, Beamen won immunity. Ashton and Joe felt it was time to make a move against the original Villains, and Ian agreed to the plan, feeling that some Villain would make a move soon and wanting to be in on it when it happened. Additionally, he wanted to see one of Trent, Nick, or Stick go so that he could be in two different Final 3 alliances. Ian made sure Ashton and Joe forced Cool to use the Mask of Negation he won at the auction as a condition for flipping so that the Heroes could not regain the numbers at the next vote. Ashton, Ian, and Joe decided Ian would pretend to not know about the plan to blindside Trent so he could work to keep Nick and Stick on their side for future votes. Trent was voted out in a 6-3 vote over Windo.

Ian worked to keep the Villains together as chaos erupted when Trent went home. He noticed something was off when Beamen knew he was the Villains’ target at the next vote, but could not figure out what. Stick had flipped and worked with the Heroes to vote out Joe, 5-4. Ian was blindsided and angry to find that the Heroes and Villains now had equal numbers.

At the Final 8, Ian worked to get Stick back on his side, knowing they would need his vote. Ian and Ashton won Touchy Subjects and a reward in the immunity challenge. Despite his best efforts to win immunity in the Black and White Tournament, the reward was not enough and he lost in the first round to Beamen. However, Nick went on to win immunity. Ian was able to determine that the Heroes were voting for him and he and Ashton decided Ashton would play the idol on him. Additionally, Stick rejoined the Villains alliance. Ashton played the idol correctly, negating four votes for Ian and sending Beamen home 4-0.

At the Final 7, Ian was happy to see his friend from Grenada, Gus, return as his loved one. Gus and Ian dominated the reward challenge and Gus helped Ian win the immunity challenge as well. Ian felt that he had a clear shot to the end with Stick and Nick, and that he had a good chance of winning. Despite Ian’s willingness to keep Windo in over Cody or Cool, as Windo was not good at challenges, the Villains decided to vote off Windo, joined by Cool and Cody, who made the vote unanimous.

At the Final 6, the tribe was given the option to sit out of the immunity challenge in order to get an advantage at the Final 5 immunity challenge. Knowing that the Heroes could not win the Final 5 immunity if a Villains Final 4 was to happen, all four Villains sat out of the challenge. However, at the end of the challenge, Cool revealed that he and Edge were brothers and had been lying about their relationship. Cool was disqualified from winning immunity, which went to Cody instead. Stick, Cody, and Nick, deciding Cool could no longer win at the end, blindsided Ian.

Ian found when he reached the jury that the majority of jurors would have voted for him to win over anyone else in the Final 6.

At the Final Tribal Council, Ian criticized the Final 3 for the shift in their games which occurred when Cool revealed his secret as well as Nick's lack of a sound plan to win before that moment. In the end, he cast his vote for Cody because Cody played a game he felt that he could respect more than the other two finalists.
